Winter weather along with tornados has clobbered the midwest recently. Bearing that in mind, I telephoned El Reno's daily newspaper, El Reno Tribune to find out if the ex-Philadelphia & Western Brill-built Strafford trolley (now gas powered) has survived and is still in service. One of the paper's editors confirmed that the streetcar is indeed alive and well, but makes appearances only on special occasions.
El Reno is an art colony, and no doubt the trolley adds to town's charm, although the video in the previous link is IMO rather dreary.

Here's a nice slide show on the El Reno Trolley. Photographer indicates that the link he posted was updated in June 2016.
I'm glad to see this operation continues to function. Oklahoma City will be the second urban area in the Sooner State to have a streetcar when the Brockville cars start running. Sloan

It's nice to see that the El Reno Trolley is alive and well—despite tornados—and operating as shown in this 57 second video (from October 2016) on YouTube.
