CSX Prepares for Tropical Storm Erika August 28, 2015
CSX Transportation is taking precautions to protect employees, rail traffic and infrastructure as Tropical Storm Erika is currently forecast by multiple weather agencies to move toward Florida, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and the southeast Atlantic coastline of the U.S. The storm is not expected to have a significant impact on CSX operations at this time, but its path and intensity are being closely monitored. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
