   South Shoreline unveils new commuter train schedule      

 

 

Significant changes are forthcoming for South Shoreline commuters, as announced by the railway officials. Following the completion of a track construction project, a new double track train schedule is poised to be implemented starting May 14th, aiming to enhance the daily commute between South Bend and Chicago.

    South Shore acknowledges issues with new schedules, promises improvements    

 

 

South Shore Line commuter rail service has been experiencing some growing pains with its expanded schedule, to the point that Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District President Mike Noland on Friday issued a letter to riders vowing to do better.
