Third and final day of MARF 2006 went very well! We did our round trips on SEPTA commuter rail to Cynwyd, Norristown (Elm Street), and Newark, DE. We also took in the entire #15 streetcar line on a rebuilt PCC car. Involved in Friday's activities were Bill Magee, Maurice Carson, Jishnu Mukerji, Skip Howard, Alan Burden, Ted Patchell, Michael and me. Overall it was a wonderful three-day event, made more interesting by the diverse types of rails we rode and the people who joined us for all or a small part of each day. Thanks to everyone for making this yet another successful rail fest. I am deeply grateful that we had a total count of 13, given the fact that this was held entirely on weekdays. Now it's back to laboring over trip reports and trying to plan once again for another future gathering! :)
