Essex Station Platform Project Temporarily Closes Station Building
Effective April 4, 2024
Effective April 4, platform repairs will begin at the Amtrak Essex station. Work should not impact scheduled train times or passenger boarding.
April 22 - December 1, 2024
The station waiting room will be closed from April 22 - December 3, 2024. A temporary trailer will be on-site with a waiting room and restrooms during this time.
Allow Extra Time
The project will be done in phases to allow passengers to board trains from different sections of the platform. Follow signage for a safe route to board trains. Please allow extra time to get to your train.
