Dear Fellow Historians & Collectors:
I am sending this message to individuals and groups who might be interested in the annual Key, Lock & Lantern Convention, to be held from May 11-14, 2017 in Scranton, PA. The convention includes programs, a train excursion, and a Transportation History Exposition with exhibits and dealers of memorabilia. Registration is open to anyone with an interest in railroad, transportation, and industrial history. In recent years, representatives of museums and historical groups have set up exhibits, as the show provides an excellent opportunity for networking. While it is a smaller event than the big hobby shows, the attendees are among the most serious collectors and history buffs.Registration information, forms, and a press release for use in newsletters and event calendars are available at www.klnl.org.
