TRAVEL ADVISORY - AIRTRAIN JFK WILL HAVE A PARTIAL SHUTDOWN FROM 1 A.M. UNTIL 5 P.M. SUNDAY FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

Date: May 19, 2017
 

Free shuttle bus service will be provided to minimize impact on travelers

Beginning at 1 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, May 21, AirTrain JFK will have a partial shutdown of the AirTrain JFK system from Federal Circle to Howard Beach, including Lefferts Boulevard. There will be free bus service provided from Howard Beach, Lefferts Boulevard and Federal Circle.

Passengers and airport employees are advised to allow for extra time when traveling to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport during these times. Additional airport customer care representatives, AirTrain and other Port Authority staff will be on duty to better provide information for passengers during the train suspension.
