Minneapolis, MN Star-Tribune, 6/28/17:

Gridlock hits downtown Minneapolis, snarling commute

It was worse than many had even feared.

Express buses took hours and downtown streets were parking lots well into the day.

Emily Zieska, an accountant with the Dougherty & Company LLC, said she was late to work today after her commute up I-94 was stalled for an hour and a half.

Minneapolis, MN Star-Tribune, 7/3/17:

After 11-day shutdown, Blue and Green Line LRT trains rolling again Monday morning

Repair work to the LRT tracks in the heart of downtown Minneapolis was completed in time for Monday morning’s commute.

Crews and contractors ran trains over the new track Sunday afternoon, testing them first at a walking pace and then at normal operating speeds.
