We are continually monitoring Hurricane Irma's progress and will routinely post impacts to service and other relevant customer advisories throughout the duration of the storm.

FEC Hurricane Service Irma Update, 9/6/17:

 
Hurricane Irma
 
 
FEC continues to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Irma, which is currently moving towards the east coast of Florida. The storm is projected to move from the southern tip of Florida all the way up the coast over the next few days. GivenIrma’s current track and forecasted path we expect our operations to be impactedby the storm and areplanning to make the following adjustments to our schedules:
 
Train Service
 
Thursday, September 7th
FEC will operate the following mainline trains:
Southbound: 101
Northbound: 202 and 222
 
Local train service changes will be communicated individually to the affected customers
 
Friday, September 8th
FEC will not operate mainline or local train service
 
Terminal Hours / Operations:
FEC Terminals will no longer accept in-gate traffic based on the below noted times:
 
Wednesday, September 6th
Fort Lauderdale-2000
 
Thursday, September 7th
Cocoa–0800
Jacksonville–1000
Port Miami-1200
Miami-1500
Fort Pierce-1700
 
Terminals will be closed for all out-gating shipments at the below noted times:
 
Friday, September 8th
Fort Lauderdale–1200
Miami–1200
Fort Pierce–1700
Cocoa–1700
Jacksonville–1700
 
 
 
FEC Highway Services
Pickups originating out of the below terminals will no longer be accepted after today:
 
Charlotte, NC
Atlanta, GA
Fort Lauderdale, FL
 
Additional information regarding other terminals and deliveries will be provided on the next advisory.
 
If Irma’s path deviates from what is now anticipated the plans outlined above may change and we will issue additional Customer Advisory at 1730 EST.

Terminal Hours / Operations: 

All FEC Terminals are no longer accepting in-gate traffic

 

 

The Following Terminals will be closed for all out-gating shipments at the below noted times:

 

Friday, September 8th 

Fort Lauderdale – 1200

Miami – 1200

Fort Pierce – 1700

Cocoa – 1700

Jacksonville – 1700 

 

 

FEC Highway Services

Pickups originating out of all terminals are no longer being accepted until further notice.

FEC continues to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Irma, which is currently moving towards the state of Florida. The storm has begun to impact the southern tip of Florida and will continue moving up the state through Monday. Given Irma’s current track and forecasted path we are making the following adjustments to our schedules:  

 

Train Service

FEC has suspended all mainline and local train service until further notice.   

 

Terminal Hours / Operations: 

All FEC Terminals are closed to gate activity until further notice.   

 

FEC Highway Services

Pickups and Deliveries are no longer being accepted until further notice.   

 

Customer Service Customer Service will close at 1700 this evening and reopen at 0800 Sunday morning.  

 

If Irma’s path deviates from what is now anticipated the plans outlined above may change and we will issue an additional Customer Advisory at 1030 EST, September 10th.
