NASHVILLE – Due to rapidly changing conditions, Nashville MTA buses and vans will be operating on snow route detours beginning at 6:15 a.m.  Snow routes are for routes that need to use a detour to navigate safely during inclement weather.  Buses will operate on all MTA routes that have weekday service, even if a snow route detour is not listed for a particular route.

To find out how a specific route may be affected, passengers can view our 2018 Snow Route Detours brochure online, or pick up a Snow Route brochure at Music City Central or in display racks in the downtown area.  Snow route information will also be displayed on electronic signs in passenger waiting areas at Music City Central.
Detailed Description of Service Levels: • Route 43 Hickory Hills has limited service at this time; No service provided to Hunters Lane or Whites Creek high schools.

• RTA express bus service contracted through Gray Line (87X Gallatin Express, 88X Dickson Express, 89X Springfield/Joelton Express, 91X Franklin Express, 92X Hendersonville Express, 94X Clarksville Express, and 95X Spring Hill Express) is cancelled due to wintry conditions.

• The Music City Star and Route 93 Music City Star West End Shuttle are operating as scheduled.

• AccessRide is continuing to accept trip requests at this time.  Customers may experience delays.

Safety is our number one priority, so please be aware that there may be additional delays as bus operators are proceeding cautiously.  We ask that you allow for additional travel time so we can help you get where you need to go safely.
