Greater Clark school buses rear-ended at railroad crossings six times since July 2015
CLARK COUNTY — A string of accidents involving school buses is causing concern among Greater Clark County School officials.
David Rarick became the director of transportation at Greater Clark on July 1, 2015. In the time that has passed since he accepted the position, district buses have been rear-ended at railroad crossings six times.

"The problem is people not paying attention," Rarick said. "We have many people with smartphones now, and they're locked into them. I know because my drivers are on the road all day, and they notice it. If you're locked into that and you're not aware of your surroundings, you don't know the railroad track is coming up."
