From Joel Salomon's e-mail today:

Hello all,

Just a reminder for everyone about the memorial service for Ed Blossom
scheduled for April 16, 2005 at the Electric City Trolley Museum Association
museum building in Scranton.

All day long (9AM - 4PM) there will be displays about Ed, newspaper
articles, photos letters about Ed's restoration work over the years.

At 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30, in the museum theater, a 29 minute video of Ed's
narration of a trip over the Liberty Bell Line will be shown. The video is
from the collection of Henry Schmidt and is not a commercial video, but a
b&w film transferred to tape but never commercially released.

Starting at 1PM a program remembering Ed will begin. Various individuals
will speak about Ed, his accomplishments and a short slide show will be
presented about Ed over the years at Bloomsburg, Dushore, Topton and
Scranton. (If anyone has any slides of Ed at Branford or other locations
please contact me ASAP as we would like to include them in the program.)

At 3PM a trolley ride will be taken to Montage Mountain and return using
Red Arrow centerdoor car 76

Please let me know if you have any questions. Since my original message
back in December, my email address has changed and my new address is
jdstrolley@rcn.com Please feel free to distribute this email to anyone that
may not be on this list. Ed was a dear friend to many of us and we look
forward to seeing you in Scranton to remember everything that he has done
for trolley preservation.

Regards,

Joel Salomon
