NYCT subway disruptions over the Fest weekend

The above link shows all subway disruptions and their alternatives over the January 16-18 period. None of these will directly affect our official trip on the R and 1 trains, but there could be some extra congestion due to other trains being diverted to their routes.

Note that the G train is totally out (bustituted over most of its route), and the Lexington Avenue line (4) is not running in Brooklyn or south of the Brooklyn Bridge station in Manhattan, instead replaced by a J shuttle which will run via the Montague tunnel. The C local is not running at all, replaced by the A which will make a very tedious local run on its entire route. There are MANY other lines affected.

Keep this in mind if you are staying in or near the city and would need to use the subways to or from the official activities.
