Connecticut Post, Bridgeport, CT, 10/7/15:

Ridership up on Metro-North

Despite the railroad’s ancient bridges and crowded parking lots, ridership on Metro-North is inching up, including on the New Haven Line, which carried 375,400 more passengers through the first seven months of this year than it did through the same period in 2014.

Ride this.

Editorial in Connecticut Post, Bridgeport, CT, 10/9/15:

Growing Metro-North ridership calls for continued safety commitment

That Metro-North rail line ridership is up is more than a pleasing statistical surge.

It’s a sign that the troubled line’s service is reliable and comfortable enough to pack ‘em in.
