Denver, CO Post, 10/17/17:

In latest setback for RTD’s troubled rail system, north line faces construction delay of 18 months

It wasn’t long ago that north-metro residents were envisioning the winter/spring of 2018 as a time they could hop on a commuter train at 104th, 112th or 124th avenues and ride into Denver unburdened by their cars.

Those people might now want to invest in snow tires.

After High-Profile A Line Troubles, RTD Plans To Operate N Line Itself

Before construction started on the Regional Transportation District’s N Line in 2014, most of the agency’s senior leadership thought that the private contractor building, maintaining and operating RTD’s other commuter rail lines — the A, B and G lines — should operate the new line to Thornton as well.
