Piedmont Trains 73, 74, 75 and 76: Track Work Affects Service between Salisbury, Kannapolis and Charlotte
Effective April 27, 2015 Only
Track work being performed by Norfolk Southern Railway will affect Piedmont service on April 27, 2015, as described below:
Southbound Trains 73 and 75
Trains 73 and 75, which normally operate between Raleigh and Charlotte, will terminate at Salisbury, where passengers will be provided bus service to Kannapolis and Charlotte.
Northbound Trains 74 and 76
Trains 74 and 76, which normally originate in Charlotte, will originate in Salisbury. Passengers boarding at Charlotte and Kannapolis will be provided bus service to Salisbury where they can transfer to Trains 74 or 76.
Northbound Buses Depart Earlier
The buses for Trains 74 and 76 will depart 15 minutes earlier than the normal schedule. The bus representing Train 74 will depart Charlotte at 11:45 am and Kannapolis at 12:10 pm. The bus representing Train 76 will depart Charlotte at 5:00 pm and Kannapolis at 5:25 pm.
