After determining that the weather would be mild during the fest and deciding that I did not need to bring my heaviest coat, I went to weather.com and notifed that the high on Saturday in DC is expected to be 33.  I attempted to copy and paste from the website, but was not permitted to "attach."  I may need to re-think my coat situation and will monitor the weather up until tomorrow when I leave home to travel to the fest.

Sat, 1/14, Wintry mix early.  Precipitation will change to a mixture of rain and freezing rain for the afternoon and evening.  Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s.

Weather affecting 50(14)

I have reviewed the weather that might affect our Sunday ride on 50 per Kevin's request during the Sunday evening chat session.

The Chicago weather forecast supports an on-time departure.  The train will likely encounter freezing rain or ice approaching Indianapolis, continuing until east of Cincinnati.  This may affect the train depending on severity.  Once the temperature rises after day break Sunday, there should be no additional weather concerns affecting the train.
