As noted in another post, sleepers are BOOOKED!!!! IIRC the Carolinian and the Regional to from Newport News to Washington have BC. Which class is everybody riding in? On an unrelated note, do they run amfleet IIs on the Carolinian?

You've got the Carolinian (80), the Regional to Norfolk (125), and the regional (66) from Newport News. That's 3 trains. From what I've heard so far, coach class. As for the Carolinian, when I get home I'll double check my consist recordings from my last trip on it in September, but IIRC no more Amfleet II. They used to run one Amfleet II and called it Carolina Class, but now it's a regular business class car as found on the Regionals.

I'm going coach on all of the non-LD trains except the Carolinian to NYP where I'm booked in business class for the 6 hour trip.

Just booked all of these in coach. Need paper ticket mailed to me because of thruway bus segment.

The Carolinain (80) redux from Fredericksburg to wherever one plans to go afterwards on Friday makes 4 such trains, as Dick indicated.
