For the safety of Amtrak customers and employees, due to forecasted winter weather, select trains will operate a modified schedule with no alternate transportation as follows:

Some Amtrak trains canceled ahead of possible Chicago snow storm

 

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Amtrak is already changing its schedule ahead of a potential snow storm next week.

 

Some trains running in and out of Chicago are canceled or modified between Sunday and Tuesday.

    Amtrak Cancels Dozens of Trains on Tuesday & Wednesday Amid Storm  

 

Amtrak has canceled nearly twenty trains in the Northeast as Tuesday evening’s storm rages on across the area. The cancelations affect trains on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
