Amtrak running one passenger train from Allentown to New York City next spring
For the first time since the 1980s, passenger rail enthusiasts next spring will get a chance to catch a train from Allentown to New York City.
But don't expect to be commuting daily to the Big Apple any time soon, because this will be a one-time event meant to generate excitement for efforts to restore passenger rail between the Lehigh Valley and New York.
Let's not fight over those available seats!
