Railway museum’s ‘Letters to Santa’ event offers afternoon of holiday fun

A short ride on the Ohio Public Service Co. Interurban No. 64 from Worthington Station to Colonial Hills was only one part of Sunday’s “Letters to Santa” event at the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington. After writing letters to Santa in a 1920 railroad postal car, children and their parents enjoyed crafts, a photo opportunity with Mrs. Claus and train rides. The museum will hold the event again from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 16 and 17.

It's nice to note that the Ohio Railway Museum is back in the news.  This museum was one of the earliest trolley museums in the country, founded in the 1950s.  For many years, its activities have been out of view.
