City to mull high-speed rail plan

City Council members could decide at tonight’s meeting whether to join the nonprofit Texas High Speed Rail and Transportation Corp., which advocates the “Texas T-Bone Corridor” that could one day pass through Ellis County.

Texas A&M and College Station officials headed to Spain to study high-speed rail

Eleven representatives from College Station and Texas A&M University are traveling to Ciudad Real in Spain for a weeklong tour of the “fraternal city” and the high-speed rail system that connects it to Madrid.
