When: Sat, May 8, 10am – 3pm
Where: O. Winston Link Museum

Roanoke Rails: A Celebration on the N&W Mainline on May 8, 2010, the O. Winston Link Museum and The Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia invite railfans and families from all over the world to attend a now yearly celebration of railroad heritage. The Link Museum will feature the famed N&W J Class steam locomotive 611, a historic paint scheme Southern GP59 Unit 4610, railroad memorabilia and activities, model trains, railroad photography, children's activities and more.

The Virginia Museum of Transportation will feature railroad motorcar rides, antique model trains, and children's activities. There's sure to be something for everyone at this nostalgic and enriching event.

On the evening of May 8, the Link Museum will also hold a night photo shoot on the tracks, featuring N&W J Class 611.
