WASHINGTON - It was supposed to be a day of helping out with crowd control, but Houston Metro police officer Elliot Swainson ended up helping a woman who had fallen on the tracks at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station.
Swainson says the 68-year-old woman was part of a group from Tennessee and had turned to look for a friend when she lost her balance and fell onto the tracks.
