Amtrak wins a place on Forbes' best employers list

 

Forbes magazine named Amtrak as one of "America's Best Employers" for 2015, the passenger railroad announced Monday.

 

The story

 

One must wonder what Amtrak trains the people from Forbes rode. While there are many good employees out there, many of us have also run into some bad eggs who perform as nothing less than disgruntled employees. Or did they only look at those who don't work aboard the trains, such as ticket agents, reservations people, baggage handlers, etc.?

That's employers, with an "r". Not employees, with an "e".

They're saying that Amtrak is a great place to work. Not that Amtrak has great workers.

Understood, but what I was getting at is that some act disgruntled, which if their gripes are true, makes it not a great place to work.
