Amtrak reporting some delays between Trenton and Philadelphia

 

Travelers on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor may experience some delays Saturday after officials with the rail line announced there will be residual service delays between Trenton and Philadelphia after a person was struck by a train.

Six Flags firefighter killed by Amtrak train in Pennsylvania

 

A Pennsylvania man who worked as a firefighter for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson died this weekend after he was struck by a train in Bucks County, officials said.

 

George Redner III, 27, was hit around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday at the Levittown/Tullytown station by Amtrak Train 663, which was traveling from New York to Philadelphia, according to Amtrak spokesman Craig Schulz.
