My homepage for the Windy City RailFest has been updated to reflect the event in the past tense. Links have been added to the actual itineraries we followed for both the Pre-Fest and the main Fest, which differ from the final itineraries we expected to follow. In many cases, we ran either up to 20 minutes ahead of schedule, or slightly behind the times in the final itinerary. Our dinner plans and locations also changed a few times, and we took a train one hour earlier from Joliet to Chicago because of that. The Actual Itineraries also omit those portions of the Fest that were deleted, such as Parts P1 & P2, and Part B4

Also updated is the list of participants, now that we know exactly who was there and when. A total of 16 people were involved, although at no time were all 16 present. (Our Saturday morning commuter run to Geneva represented our maximum number of participants: 14.)
The link to the Document Index containing the Route Guides that each participant got at the Fest has now been opened to all. This is your key to traveling vicariously along with us on the Fest, since the report should not be expected for several weeks.
A quiz was included in the folder of Fest materials. However due to the nature of the participants coming and going throughout the four days, there was no fair time to administer it. I will post a link to the Windy City RailFest 2003 quiz questions here: http://pages.prodigy...gofest/quiz.htm . The answers will be posted in about a week or so. This will give time for those who did not make it to Chicago this past weekend to try the quiz at home.
