Sonoma-Marin Area Regional Transit (SMART) begins Phase 1 commuter rail service between Sonoma County Airport and San Rafael on Friday, 8/25/17.
 
Extensions north to Cloverdale and south to Larkspur Ferry Landing are a few years away.
