The NEW OTOL Chat System, As of 10/7/03 Options

Your OTOL Leaders have been researching, analyzing and testing Chat systems for over two months. We've finally settled on a system which we believe (1) is very easy to use, (2) is stable and fast, and (3) has all the features our members need for real-time online chatting.

Our new OTOL Chat system is based on SigmaChat. We have activated it via "Chat" links (menu items) on all pages of our web site: http://on-track-on-line.com/

Please be patient while the Java-based Chat software loads. If you have trouble loading the software, or know you don't have Java installed, please e-mail me via the link on our Meet Leaders page.

The really good news is that Members of the these Forums are automatically Members of the new OTOL Chat system. You log into the new OTOL Chat using your OTOL Forums Username and Password.

OTOL Forum membership is required to use the Chat system, but Forum membership is free and easy -- just click Register at the top of Forum pages to become a member.

Once you have logged into OTOL Chat, "right-click" on the chat box to see a menu of options that are in addition to the buttons at the top. For example, you can change your font size and text color.

Our regularly schedule weekly Trains Chats (9:30pm ET Sundays) will begin using this new OTOL Chat system this Sunday, October 12, 2003. Please join us to talk about "anything on flanged wheels".
