Tuesday, Day 1 in Dallas saw us arrive 13 minutes early on the Texas Eagle. We decided to follow the itinerary I had laid out, which gave us some advance time to have lunch and either early check-in our have luggage held at respective hotels.
Ted joined us in Dallas, making part of our journey part of his around the country. Kim left us for other plans. Six of us went to Cindy's New York Deli a block from the station for lunch.
So we still had 8 people who would do the Fest activities today, which included running to both ends of the Blue Line, including the extensions to UNT-Dallas and Downtown Rowlett.
Upon reaching downtown, we went our separate ways to get dinner. We had agreed to have dinner together on Wednesday night at a steakhouse.
