Getting there
Take the Hudson, Harlem or New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal. From there take the westbound M42 (42nd Street, between Park and Vanderbilt Avenues) to Eight Avenue or, you can walk west to Eighth Avenue (between 47th & 48th Streets). The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.

Westchester Children’s Museum

Lyndhurst Mansion

Explore 67 acres surrounding the splendid, Gilded Age mansion where New York politicians and Wall Street giants made their home. With more than 17 rooms open to the public, and filled with rare furnishings, Lyndhurst offers visitors a chance to travel back to the days of robber barons and aristocrats. Aside, from tours inside the mansion, visitors will enjoy a stroll around the extensive landscaped grounds located on the Croton Aqueduct Park. Caramoor’s 71st Annual Summer Music Season presents eight weeks of incredible music including two large scale festival days. Pack a picnic lunch or enjoy burgers and beers from a gourmet food truck. The Wassaic Project

This unique, artists’ space, located on Furnace Bank Road in Wassaic, includes festivals, exhibitions and a rustic charm. There are film, dance, art and music programs for kids and adults, as well as an art nest with drop-in activities. The buildings that the project occupies is actually a converted grain elevator and auction barn.
