MARC PENN Line Delays

 

MARC Penn Line Trains will see significant delays this morning due to unscheduled track repair causing single track operation South of Penn Station.

 

 

The track repair was a broken rail attributed to the extreme cold.

 

MARC sent numerous service alerts for delays, updates and cancellations affecting every train scheduled though the work area.

MARC Penn line update

 

Amtrak has repaired the broken rail. Penn line will resume normal operations with MARC 416 and MARC 429

 

 

 Residual delays are continuing as of 1:15 pm.
