Texas Eagle Trains Track Work Affects Service at Shreveport, Marshall and Longview
Effective May 1 - 8, 2017
Due to Union Pacific track work, Train 21/421 will detour between Texarkana and Mineola, and will not stop at Marshall or Longview from May 1 through May 8, 2017. If you are traveling to or from Marshall or Longview on these dates, please note the following:
Boarding at Shreveport, Marshall and Longview
Customers boarding at Shreveport, Marshall and Longview will board Thruway bus 6421 to Mineola, where they will board Train 21/421, serving all remaining stations on the route.
Travel to Shreveport, Marshall and Longview
Customers on Train 21/421 who are traveling to Shreveport, Marshall and Longview will detrain at Mineola, and take Thruway bus 6121 to their destination. Bus 6121 will originate at Mineola instead of Longview.
Longview Thruway Bus Connection
Customers on Train 21/421 who are scheduled to make connections with Thruway bus 6021 at Longview will also detrain at Mineola and take Thruway Bus 6021 to their destination. Bus 6021 will originate in Mineola instead of Longview.
During this period, Amtrak personnel will be available at Mineola to assist customers.
