No justifiable reason for me to be in BC when I don't earn any more AGR points. So I'll be in coach.

I am actually making a minuscule amount of additional AGR points, like 16 or so for being in BC to MET :)

Glad there will be someone in coach! I was thinking about upgrading since everyone else seemed to be in Business Class, but now I will remain in coach.

I was kidding of course... I'm fine with Coach for the relatively short distance. Remember we probably won't be able to all sit together anyhow, no matter what section of the train we ride in. Bridgeport is not a major stop, so there probably won't be much turnover of passengers there. Plan to sit near strangers, and probably not get your pick of window seats, should any exist. My almost-50 vision may be bad, but I can still see out the windows from the aisle seats! :) That said there still appear to be seats available. Today now that I have hotel plans solidified in NY, I cancelled my through BRP-MET ticket on #163 and instead for the same price reserved a stopover ticket on #163 BRP-NYP and then #159 NYP-MET. For the same price I now get 200 AGR points instead of 100, and I can stop in Manhattan to pick up my luggage.

Thanks to an alert email from Bill Magee I will also be on 163 I was previously taking M-N but will now be in coach on the Amtrak train, just to NYC as I am staying there until Monday.
