CSX Customer Service Bulletin - Winter Storm Nemo Update

2/10/13

CSX Transportation continues to slowly restore operations in the aftermath of winter storm Nemo, with most New England mainlines back in operation. However, significant snowfall accumulations must still be removed from secondary lines and sidings, and customers in the region should expect delays of 48-72 hours. Customers are urged to remove snow and ice from their locations when safe to do so to facilitate CSX service restoration.

Despite high winds, several feet of snow and widespread power outages, CSX crews were able to resume operations at most of the company's facilities including the major classification yard at Selkirk, N.Y., and at intermodal terminals in Massachusetts. Shipments throughout the CSX system could be slowed as a backlog of traffic is worked off.
