At that time, the system will undergo another reconfiguration. As said above, the Mid-Coast extension becomes part of the Blue Line. The Green Line, whose current western terminus is Old Town, will be extended to interline with the Blue Line to the Santa Fe Depot (Amtrak, Coaster), and then it will continue over the Bayside Loop to terminate at 12th & Imperial. The Green Line will replace Orange Line service over the Bayside Loop, and the latter will terminate at the Santa Fe Depot. Thus the Orange Line will no longer "meet itself" at 12th & Imperial.

Note that the "Special Events" service (red broken line on current map) for Petco Park & Qualcomm Stadium would become redundant with the extended 2015 Green Line, and thus would not be needed. The Mid-Coast Extension is shown in red on the future map, but it's expected it will become part of a longer Blue Line.
