So it looks like we're narrowing down to two candidates that are a couple people's 1 & 2 choices, and one person's 2 & 3 choices. I agree that we should probably leave final decision until around the July 4th holiday, which is a week or less before most start their travels on or before the official Fest. (There's more time on the later city stops because most will be together in person and have full internet access in hotels before we get there.) Before then, someone should call the places (using Alexander Graham Bell's invention) to see how they will accommodate our group of X people (whatever the number), separate checks, ease of access/egress at a table for those less mobile, and whatever other questions, etc. Those could be deal makers or breakers.

I could go with either Gordon Biersch or Mannings. Houston's looks good, but appears to have too strict a dress code for this crew, even me, in my newly minted Florida mindset.

I have scoured yelp for restaurants in New Orleans. I think the choices so far are:

1 Gordon Biersch
2 Mannings
3 Houstons.
4 Harrahs.

I reviewed the above posts and tried to list them in order of statements of preference. I think we need to consider the first week of July as a cut off.

Is this still the correct order? I will call when I get back from Japan.

I think the top 2 in that list are still generally our top 2.  I believe Harrah's was ruled out due to the ridiculous cost.
