SacRT Works to Repair Storm Damage

 

SACRAMENTO – SacRT issued an alert that service is temporarily suspended as crews start working to repair damage to its line after storms.

 

Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) has issued an alert that its light rail system is temporarily suspended during the morning on February 5th due to storm damage.  . . .

SacRT Update

 
Additional Light Rail Services to Resume at 3:30 p.m. – Monday, February 5, 2024
 

 

Green Line and a portion of the Gold Line (Sacramento Valley to 29th Street) resumed service at approximately 3:30 p.m. A bus bridge remains in effect on the Gold Line from 29th Street to Iron Point/Historic Folsom stations while crews continue to repair damage to power poles.

 

Blue Line Light Rail Service resumed at 2 p.m. today.
 

Gold Line Light Rail Service resumed at 3:30 p.m. between Sacramento Valley Station and 29th Street Station in both directions. Service is not expected to resume between 29th Street and Iron Point stations until sometime tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6.
 

Green Line Light Rail Service resumed at 3:30 p.m.

 

Riders are reminded to use the Alert SacRT app to check for light rail service alerts.

Rider Alert: Gold Line Restored Wednesday, February 7
 

 

Gold Line Light Rail service resumed at the start of service today, Wednesday, February 7.

 

Reminder: A bus bridge is in place on the Gold Line between Tiber and Butterfield stations due to planned platform modification construction at Tiber Station. Trains will still pass through Tiber Station, passengers cannot board or deboard at the station. Learn more at sacrt.com/stationclosure.
