Rockslide Near Borderland, WV- Update

Apr 25, 2017

Norfolk Southern crews continue to make repairs to the route damaged by yesterday’s rockslide at Borderland, WV.  This morning, service was restored to one of the two mainline tracks impacted by the rockslide and we anticipate having the second mainline track restored later this afternoon.

All traffic moving in the Chicago-Charlotte/Greensboro and Chicago/Columbus-Norfolk lanes will continue to incur delay due to ongoing track work, slow orders, and track inspections.

We will provide additional updates as information becomes available.
