As we wind down on our planning process for BTP2007 and prepare to make our respecitve ways from various locations to Boston for our next meet, let me remind you all to dress for winter in Boston. Highs are expected to be only in the 40's, and Saturday remains with a chance of precipitation, the result of an off-shore low and its consistency possibly snow or cold rain depending on the temperature. I e-mailed each confirmed participant a copy of the contact list, showing all cell phone numbers, travel plans, and hotels that were known at presstime, approximately 1 AM Thursday 11/8/07. If things change from this point, we can write in the corrections. Michael and I intend to leave our house by Thursday 12:30 PM the latest, which gives us plenty of time to get up to Metropark and find a space. We depart 2:16 PM from there, and arrive in Boston around 6:30 or so. This is the last you will hear from me before the trip, unless you have sent individual e-mails to me. I'll probably shut those down by 12 Noon Thursday. Remember to bring money! The cost page illustrates that our entertainment, particularly on the commuter rail lines, can get quite pricey when you add it all up. The adult fare for the fest activities is $77, but remember that many of us will also be using various commuter lines to get to and from our hotels in Dedham, Franklin, and Lowell, to name a few, while our local friends will also be commuting to and from outlying points to join or leave the fest. Morning meeting places will be: Friday 11/9 between 8:30 and 8:40 AM near the "T" trains Solari Board. When train #909 is announced we begin walking towards it. On Saturday 11/10 we will meet around 8:00 AM further east in the station, near the doorways by the MBCR ticket area. I would expect Old Colony trips to depart from the higher numbered tracks. If you will be meeting us later in the day, please call me or somebody else to confirm we are on schedule. Everyone please have a delightful trip to Boston, and we'll see some of you up there on Thursday night, and the rest on Friday and Saturday at various times. Kevin
