April 17, 2007 - The Detroit Transportation Corporation has announced that overhaul work has begun on the escalators at Cadillac Station.

Both the upper and lower escalators will be out of service for overhaul. Stations are open for train service and can be accessed via the elevators or stairs. Please be advised that when crews are actively working on the escalators, the stairways may be temporarily closed off for patron safety.

The overhaul should take approximately 10 weeks through the end of June.
