New York City Transit

MTA New York City Transit expects normal subway service through Friday evening's rush hour. In order to prevent subway trains from being blocked in yards, they will be moved and stored underground on express tracks after the p.m. peak and express service will be impacted on portions of certain lines throughout the weekend. MTA New York City Transit buses will continue to operate approximately 90 percent of service and will conduct an assessment route by route to determine if tire chains will remain on buses and where. All articulated buses on the road will still be outfitted with tire chains. All routes are still subject to delays if road conditions warrant.
