Celebrate New Jersey’s railroad history on Sept. 25 in Boonton

The United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey invites all to a special exhibit in Boonton.

The United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey will host a celebration of New Jersey's railroad history on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the URHS Boonton Yard, 100 Morris Ave.

 

 

Come out and see over a dozen pieces of restored historic railroad equipment, opened to the public with volunteer interpreters present to provide insight into the equipment's uses and historic significance.

 

The railroad equipment on display will be joined by period-correct automobiles, trucks, buses, and military vehicles to fully immerse visitors in bygone eras.
