Hurricane Watch for VRE Service Area

If you haven't already heard, Hurricane Joaquin is making it's way through the Bahamas with the potential to make landfall anywhere between Outer Banks, NC and Boston, MA. With that uncertainty, we can be sure that we will at least experience significant rain and wind in the VRE service area. Please know that we are monitoring the weather now and continuing through the weekend with our host railroads and the National Weather Service (NWS). Stay tuned to Train Talk for any decision affecting VRE service.

Stay safe and thank you for riding VRE.
