Nashville MTA, RTA reminder regarding service during inclement weather
NASHVILLE – Based on the current weather forecast, customers should be prepared for another round of wintry weather that may alter transit service over the next few days.
We recommend the following for customers using our services. Be prepared in the event conditions worsen by allowing for additional travel time or preparing alternate methods of getting to your final destination.
We advise customers make preparations to leave the downtown area as soon as reasonably possible.
Services at this time: • AccessRide – Trip requests will be honored through the evening hours. Customers may experience delays due to varying road conditions.
• RTA Express Bus – Plan to review operational status before traveling on the morning of January 16th.
• Music City Star – Plan to review operational status before traveling on the morning of January 16th.
• MTA Bus – Buses planned to run according to holiday schedule.
Operational management will continue to monitor road conditions and update customers on all of our information channels. To find out how a specific route may be affected should snow route detours be implemented, passengers can view our 2018 Snow Route Detours brochure online, or pick up a Snow Route brochure at Music City Central or in display racks in the downtown area. Snow route information will also be displayed on electronic signs in passenger waiting areas at Music City Central.
