Johnson City is a city linked to the rails. That history goes back to the 1850s when Henry Johnson decided to build a store along the proposed path of the East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Railway.

The museum is part of the George L. Carter Chapter of NRHS.  :)  Sloan
