Kansas City authority gets green light to purchase two new streetcars
KCSA's current fleet is running "at or near capacity on a regular basis," according to the agency.

The Kansas City Streetcar Authority (KCSA) late last week received approval from the Kansas City Council to purchase two additional streetcars.
Including spare parts and inspection support, the total price of the units is $11.9 million. The authority will fund the purchase with existing downtown transportation development district funds.
