NJT's RiverLINE continues on its enhanced Sunday schedule as of now. Service is every half hour, with some 15-minute service running at rush hours south of Florence. If we get to the end of February, it will be 6 months.

River LINE trains continue to operate on a modified Sunday schedule until further notice due to ongoing track work.

Monthly progress report... RiverLINE is still on the enhanced weekend schedule, which means only 30-minute service on the Trenton end of the line, with some in-betweeners south of Florence during peak hours. From what I could observe in Trenton yesterday, trains are departing at approximately 15 and 45 past the hour. They are still dispensing at Trenton Transit Center (TTC) the paper green/blue/yellow timetables, even though they haven't meant anything since August 28th of last year. No hardcopy versions of the actual schedule were available at TTC -- just a sign stating that RiverLINE still is running on the Sunday schedules every day.

Just posted on NJT website:

River Line: Roebling Embankment Work Update - February 2012

Due to the impact of Hurricane Irene last August, a hillside embankment between NJ TRANSIT’s River Line Roebling and Bordentown stations was extensively damaged.

Nice progress report... finally! Note there's a link near the bottom to some construction photos.

And it's still on the abbreviated schedule as repairs continue. NJT put out a "new" timetable (more official looking than the one they were going with for the past few months) dated March 24, 2012 that carries wording that this is a temporary schedule. http://www.njtransit...f/bus/T0343.pdf

Perhaps this will last until Pennsauken Transfer opens, which would necessitate another new timetable

NJ's March progress report states that work on the third retaining wall should have been completed by the end of March, at which time track rebuilding can start. http://www.njtransit...p;NoticeId=2281

NJT's June update for progress on the restoration project. I'm starting to wonder if we will be celebrating Irene's first anniversary before this thing gets done. And who knows, her siblings may yet be coming.
