Took a break from the lounge and went over and had lunch at Lou Mitchell's. Now I'm back in the lounge it's less crowded. good conditioning. I have an outlet to charge my phone. All set for the next 3 hours.

8 is now due in at 6. Left milwaukee 2 hours 3 minutes late. 30 might be leaving a bit late tonight.

30 boarded at 5:30. Not so sure about the air conditioning in this car though does have the new LED lighting controls. Room 11 is on the right side today. I think this car was sitting in the yard all day. the room is warm from the sun shining into it. It still has a car number from the Portland section of the Empire builder, 2730.

Lsa came through to confirm 6:30 dinner reservation. 30 departs on time.

A great first dinner. Crew was excellent. Lsa and server worked well together. Took a 20 minute delay at porter waiting for a freight.

Folks the idea of all these threads is to give those who couldn't make it a progress report on our travels. We don't need to post every single thought in "140 characters or less" form, but rather give a report at the end of the day or less often throughout the trip containing its memorable points and timekeeping status. Sounds like a decent trip so far nevertheless, despite the delays.

99 is running 85-90% full out of BOS with us running two minutes late thanks to last second boarders. Had the entire Club Acela to myself, I didn't see anyone else enter or exit while I was inside.
