Before Metro passengers can get to a train, the youths hand them a book. That is their welcome into Mexico City's new rolling library.
In a novel program, the government of the hemisphere's largest city has begun distributing free anthologies of literature to subway commuters in hopes of improving the atmosphere in the train tunnels, perhaps lowering the crime rate and promoting more serious reading among Mexicans.
